Are sweatshirts and hoodies a thing now? They come in a number of styles, ranging from smart pullover jumpers to casual zip-up hoodies and everything in between. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that they can accommodate almost any occasion, from lounging on the sofa to effortless smart-casual outfits that are perfect for social outings. One of the more common uses of the classic sweatshirt is the casual look. Like pairing it with a turtleneck, a step up from it’s predecessor of lax sweatpants and cozy jumpers, the more socially ‘appropriate’ casual wear instead consists of chinos, jeans and trousers. Speaking of trousers, I decided to style mines with my 3 sided - stripe pants. It kept the look more casual yet stylish. Rather than wearing a pair of tight skinny jeans.
