One thing I love about September is the chance to branch into deeper color palettes. As the spring and summer florals and pastels fade, I find myself embracing rich jewel tones and decadent chocolate browns.
I used to be skeptical about pairing brown with black, thinking the two wouldn’t blend well together. But the structure and stitching of this dress completely changed my mind. The soft velvet and high neckline feel timeless and refined.
The gloves elevated the look, and since the neckline was high, I pulled my hair back sleek to showcase the beautiful gold jewelry. I’m also obsessed with the setting—the architecture and towering pole lines created the perfect backdrop.
