There’s something truly special about being in a room filled with Black creatives, visionaries, and industry leaders who are continuously redefining beauty and creating opportunities for the next generation.
This year, I had the pleasure of being invited to the BBR Creator Summit, an experience that reminded me of the importance of representation, community, and celebrating the black beauty of our creativity.
As a fashion stylist, creative director, and content creator, being surrounded by individuals who share a passion for storytelling, beauty, and self expression is always inspiring. These are the spaces that encourage us to connect, exchange ideas, and continue evolving in our respective industries.
And of course, the fashion had to make a statement!
I stepped out in a striking red Jean Paul Gaultier gown featuring a fitted silhouette, high neckline, and dramatic flowing sleeves. I paired the look with statement earrings and a sleek, textured ponytail, allowing the bold color and architectural details of the dress to speak for themselves. The goal was simple: elegance, confidence, and a little drama.
Beyond the fashion, what made the experience meaningful was the opportunity to celebrate Black excellence and the creative voices shaping our culture today.
I'm incredibly grateful for the invitation and for the opportunity to continue showing up in spaces that celebrate who we are, what we create, and the stories we have yet to tell.
