There’s something about soft pink that will always feel romantic, but I wanted this look to feel a little less sweet and a little more grown.
The floor-length pleated silhouette brought the softness, while the exaggerated sleeves and waist cutout gave it just enough drama. I kept the accessories minimal with a pearl shell clutch, delicate jewelry, and long natural curls swept to one side. With a dress that already makes a statement, nothing else needed to compete.
I also loved photographing this look from day into night. Against the water installation and palm trees, the pink felt light and almost ethereal; once the sun went down, the warm lighting completely changed the mood and made the same dress feel richer and more romantic.
Soft. Feminine. A little sexy. Exactly the balance I wanted.
